Web Developer
This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to develop websites and/or web applications that meet client specifications to improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of the client’s web presence. You will use information gathered from client meetings, best practices, and competitive analyses to present the best possible development strategy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Executive Management and other Staff on setting development approach to translate design strategies into functional site/application
- Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website organization and information hierarchy
- Keep on top of latest development techniques that will help shape client needs
- Interface with the internal creative and technical staff to ensure that websites meet both business and end user needs
- Develop websites, web applications and rich media using HTML, CSS, Flash and other technologies as applicable
Qualifications
- User focused, highly motivated, organized, able to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent client-facing communication and consultative skills
- Be an enthusiastic team player, and also be able to work as an individual when required
- Ability to translate the completed designs into HTML and CSS, optimizing the images for viewing on the Internet, and integrating the final design into the development website.
- Thorough understanding of web technologies and methodologies including Web 2.0, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, and CSS.
- Possess an expertise with Flash
- Knowledge of XML, ASP.Net 2.0 and Ajax is a plus.
- 2 to 5 Years Experience

Web Designer
The Web Designer will be responsible for performing a lead role in the research and design efforts for websites. This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to develop strategies and design specifications to improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of the client’s web presence. You will use information gathered from client meetings, best practices, and competitive analyses to present the best possible site design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Executive Management and Development Staff on site design strategies
- Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website organization and information hierarchy
- Document strategy by developing site maps, wire frames, representing website and Web application layouts
- Interface with the internal creative and technical staff to ensure that website designs meet both business and end user needs
- Design and implement creative designs and graphics using Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML and CSS.
Qualifications
- User focused, highly motivated, organized, able to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent client-facing communication and consultative skills
- Be an enthusiastic team player, and also be able to work as an individual when required
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Ability to analyze business needs/creative brief and to define creative design experience
- Aptitude to create design concepts from scratch and be able to move them into HTML/CSS
- Extensive experience in Photoshop and/or Fireworks
- Strong conceptual and creative skills
- Hands-on knowledge of Flash a definite plus
- 2 to 5+ Years Experience
